Cincuenta Mil Unidades fue creado en 2005 por Ángel Alonso (voz), Eduardo Suazo (guitarra) y Yago Bernabé (guitarra). En 2010 deciden cambiar el idioma de sus letras al castellano. Con la entrada de Miguel Ángel Santoyo (batería) y Gabriele D'Agata (bajo), la banda se consolida como un proyecto sólido.
